Beaulieu is showcasing its largest-ever Christmas tree in Palace House.
The gigantic 25 foot Nordmann Fir, adorned with over 120 metres of twinkling lights, has been installed under the stairwell of the Victorian country home.
On weekends throughout early December, as well as from December 21 to January 5, the Beaulieu attraction will be hosting a range of Christmas activities, including a new activity trail.
Visitors can pick up an activity sheet upon arrival and participate in the Montagu Bear Christmas trail—featuring a 100-year-old bear formerly owned by the late Edward, Lord Montagu.
Completing the trail will take visitors around Beaulieu to find the bear's lost Christmas possessions.
Following the trail, visitors can experience a Victorian Christmas at Palace House with crackling log fires, carols, and living history characters.
The Lower Drawing Room will host pantomime rehearsals of A Christmas Carol in the Montagu Theatre, with some guests having the chance to participate.
The National Motor Museum will offer more family-friendly activities, including a Comet on the Bonnet game where children can help Father Christmas find his reindeer, and a photo opportunity inside the Pope-Tribune 6hp with its winter backdrop.
The Streets Ahead exhibition, opened earlier this year, will transport visitors back to Christmas streets of the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
The Little Beaulieu adventure play area, adorned with sparkling lights and seasonal decorations, is open in all weather conditions.
The wooden replica of Palace House includes secret passageways, slides, and a zipwire.
Parents can take a break in the family-friendly seating area.
The Brabazon Restaurant & Café offers a seasonal range, including Christmas lunches and soup.
Visitors can also enjoy a winter walk around the Mill Pond Walk and see the grounds come to life with Christmas lights in the evening.
The Beaulieu Abbey, with its rich history, is another must-visit spot.
The Gift Shop offers a range of stocking fillers, including motoring memorabilia and local food produce.
Visitors can return for free up to six days after their original visit.
All festive activities are included in a general admission ticket to Beaulieu.
