Five NHS colleagues have received a special "thank you" for their combined 100 years of service.

The team, part of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust since October 2024, was previously with Solent NHS Estates and Facilities.

ICT project manager Sue Adcock (32 years), project manager Toni French (33 years), PA Kerrie Lowe (33 years), senior estates operations manager Karren Scholes (two years), and project manager Shariar Shakibaii (nine years) were each given framed certificates, cards, vouchers, and other gifts in recognition of their dedication.

Mark Young, deputy director of estates and facilities, said: "It is incredible to think how much has changed since these colleagues started out in the NHS.

"Between them, they have helped transform and improve so many health buildings across Southampton and Portsmouth, touching the lives of so many people.

"Although sorry to see them leave, we should take this opportunity to reflect on and celebrate all they have achieved."

The trust expressed gratitude for their contributions to Solent Estates and Facilities’ journey, wishing them well in their future endeavours.
