An Eastleigh company has been named the best in the South following its rapid growth.
HCE Foodservice Equipment was given the title of Catering Equipment Distributor of the Year, South of the UK at the Catering Insight Awards.
The firm, which provides a complete service including design, equipment sales, project management and more, has quickly become one of the leading distributors in the country.
In 2024, the company increased its turnover by more than a third and expanded its team by 20 per cent.

The business has worked on several high-profile projects, including a revamp of the front-of-house catering facilities at Bournemouth hospital and a full transformation of Max’s Brasserie in Southampton.
Other projects include an upgraded commercial kitchen at The Boathouse in Swanick and a redesign of the front-of-house Old Harry Rocks Bar at the NICI Hotel in Bournemouth.

The company has been praised for its after-sales service and planned preventative maintenance, which has contributed to its rapid growth and success.
The awards ceremony took place at the Connaught Rooms in London.
