Traffic in the city centre has returned to normal, and Bluestar are reporting easing delays on their services.

Traffic on Itchen Bridge is gridlocked in both directions.
Images from traffic cameras show that the westbound carriageways are moving normally, whereas the eastbound roads are still facing congestion.

Due to delays caused by congestion, Bluestar confirmed on social media that they have cancelled a bus service.

Google Maps' traffic view also shows several main city centre roads backed up too, with delays engulfing St Andrews Road eastbound.

AA Traffic Map is reporting an average speed of 10mph eastbound on the M27.
Southampton bus operator Bluestar is reporting "significant" delays on several routes.

Google Maps' traffic view is showing heavy delays eastbound on the M27 between Stoneham Interchange and Rownhams service station. The queues appear to be building.
