Some of the New Forest’s top chefs put their normal work on the back burner to help raise more than £3,000 for charity.
The mouth-watering event was held in aid of the Beaulieu-based Countryside Education Trust (CET), which stages courses for people who want to learn more about rural life.
Held at the National Motor Museum, Chefs Night was organised by Jan Hoy and hosted by BBC South presenter Sam Fraser.
The audience was treated to an exhibition of culinary excellence by chefs from The Montagu Arms, Lime Wood, Careys Manor, Balmer Lawn, the Brabazon Restaurant and Hythe-based caterers TASTE.
Each chef cooked a signature dish that was auctioned for the winning bidders to enjoy with a bottle of wine.
The chefs were also split into two teams that went head-to-head in a Ready Steady Cook-style contest. The evening finished with an auction of prizes donated by local hotels.
CET chief executive Jane Cooper said: "We're enormously grateful to Jan Hoy, her amazing volunteers, and the chefs who gave their time to make the evening such a success."
