Whiteley Shopping Centre's Christmas festivities are now in full swing.

The centre will launch its yuletide celebrations on Saturday, November 30, with a traditional Christmas market, which will stay until January 5.

Shoppers can expect visits from Father Christmas, princesses, and superheroes throughout the month.

The Snow Sisters and their Huggable Snowman friend were in the centre on the launch day, hosting a children's sing-along.

Father Christmas and his elf helper will be meeting children in the shopping centre’s grotto on Sunday, December 1, and Saturday, December 21.

The grotto is located between WHSmith and Quiz.

Superhero fans can look forward to meeting Whiteley's Spider Hero and Miracle Keeper on Thursday, December 7.

They will perform live shows with singing and superhero-themed games.

On Friday, December 13, a book-loving princess and beastly prince will host singing and dancing games for visitors.

Shoppers can enjoy late-night shopping until 8pm on Thursdays from November 28 to December 19.

Mia Gordon, centre director for Whiteley, said: "Christmas is the most wonderful time of year, and we can’t wait to get our festivities underway this weekend. Each year we have a real mix of seasonal activities and celebrations which we know will be popular with our shoppers – there is something for everyone to enjoy."
