A Hampshire charity has been equipped with two new minibuses - thanks to a £30,000 donation from one of the county's biggest employers.
Cash support provided by ExxonMobil, operators of Fawley refinery, will help Community First meet the "huge" demand for minibus services in the area.
The new vehicles can be booked by people living in New Forest and Waterside parishes.
An ExxonMobil Fawley spokesperson said: "The minibuses are available for hire 24/7 for educational institutions, curriculum activities, and residential trips.
"They will also provide much-needed support for charities, elderly care facilities, and health services, including hospital visits."
Tim Houghton, chief executive of Community First, added: "We are incredibly grateful to ExxonMobil Fawley for this generous £30,000 donation. It will make a real difference to the community, ensuring even more people can access affordable minibus transport."
Mr Houghton said Community First's transport services were already used by more than 5,300 residents and 280 community groups.
"This support means we can provide even more affordable and accessible services across the Waterside area and wider New Forest, reducing isolation and keeping people socially connected.
"This contribution is a fantastic example of how business and charity can work together to make a positive impact on the community."
ExxonMobil Fawley site manager Nick Bone added: "By funding these two minibuses we are helping to provide essential transport services that enhance mobility and access in the Waterside area.
“We were advised of a huge demand for minibus services, not just among residents but also from local schools that require additional transport for trips, pastoral care, and SEN initiatives.
"We are pleased to provide these minibuses and hope they will continue to benefit the community for a long time."
A statement on Community First's website says: "Our fully accessible minibuses are available for hire for regular or one-off trips.
"Where possible, we offer a door-to-door service across our region. A variety of groups and organisations use our services, including day centres, lunch groups, childrens’ services and sports groups."
ExxonMobil's Fawley complex is the largest of its type in UK and manufactures a raft of energy and chemical products used by communities and businesses every day.
The site has a history of supporting charities and other community groups. Over the past five years alone, it has donated more than £1m to good causes.
