A Southampton charity is celebrating its 125th anniversary.
Southampton Sight marked the milestone during its annual volunteer conference.
The conference began with sessions on equality, inclusion, diversity, and neurodiversity training, followed by an update on the charity's operations from CEO Jackie Powers.
Reverend Ben Jones from St Luke's, Hedge End, who himself lives with sight loss, conducted a blessing for the volunteers.
The volunteers were then treated to lunch, cake, and chocolates.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "We are very excited to celebrate our 125th Anniversary and I am especially proud that we remain true to our objectives which were set in 1899 to support blind and partially sighted people in Southampton.
"We could not do this work without the tireless commitment of our wonderful volunteers, Trustees and staff who go the extra mile on a daily basis."
Established in 1899, the charity has been dedicated to supporting blind and partially sighted people in the city.
