The M27 was closed westbound overnight for the last four nights, starting 9pm and finishing 6am between November 12 and 14.
A temporary speed limit restriction of 50mph is still in place.
Speaking on the closures, National Highways said: "As part of the next phase of the scheme, we’ll need to undertake a variety of tasks including routine maintenance, improving sign visibility, and some technology works.
"We can’t complete these tasks under lane closures for safety reasons, so we’ll need to close the main carriageway and will do this overnight to limit inconvenience as much as possible."
