Regarding the previous incident that blocked two lanes on the M27, police confirmed to the Daily Echo that the crash was reported at 7.31am.
Two cars were involved but no injuries were reported, and the lanes were cleared by 8.12am.
The broken down lorry blocking one lane northbound on the M271 is yet to be cleared and has been obstructing the road for around 50 minutes now.

While the previously blocked lanes on the M27 are now cleared, delays remain on the M271 due to a broken down lorry in an unrelated incident.
One lane is still blocked.

Speaking on the crash that has blocked two lanes westbound on the M27, one Daily Echo reader on Facebook said: "Another one! It seems to be everyday on the M27 at the moment."
Elsewhere on the M271, in an unrelated incident, one lane is blocked northbound at the Junction 3/M27 roundabout due to a broken down lorry.
Delays are forcing queues down to Redbridge Roundabout in Totton.

Traffic cameras show that while drivers can get down the eastbound carriageway freely, queues are still building westbound between Junction 10 and 9.
