Round-up
An earlier incident blocked one lane westbound on the M27 at Junction 7.
National Highways reported the lane as back open by 4pm.
Delays that had built up due to the closure were then amplified by rush hour traffic, which has now cleared at 6.20pm.

Traffic is starting to ease as 6pm hits.
Delays have reduced slightly eastbound between Rownhams service station and Stoneham Interchange - drivers are only expected to be stuck here for 10 minutes now.
Queues are still present in all directions at Stoneham Interchange.

Delays have built up to 15 minutes in the eastbound stretch between Rownhams service station and Stoneham Interchange at Junction 5.
National Highways have confirmed that the earlier incident, which caused a lane to close westbound at Junction 7, has been resolved.
All lanes are open as normal at Junction 7.
Congestion is still present, but this is due to higher traffic during rush hour.
A small stretch on the M27 is currently facing delays of 10 minutes eastbound.
Delays start just past Rownhams service station and continue up to Stoneham Interchange at Junction 5.
The stretch of road in red in the image below is the area affected.
Queues are expected to build as rush hour gets underway.

The M27 is currently littered with eastbound delays as rush hour approaches.

A reminder that from 9pm tonight, the M27 will be closed eastbound between Junction 4 and Junction 9.

Drivers are still facing delays westbound on the approach to Hedge End Interchange from Charles Watts Way.
Elsewhere on the M27, queues are starting to build in both directions at Junction 5.
Queues are still present heading westbound at Hedge End Interchange towards Kanes Hill Roundabout.
The lane is cleared but delays are still expected while traffic starts to move again.

AA Traffic Map are reporting delays around Junction 7, as queues are building at Kanes Hill Roundabout and Charles Watts Way.
