A discount supermarket giant has finally confirmed when their new store in Totton is set to open.
The new Aldi store in Salisbury Road, Calmore, had been due to open two months ago.
After rumours swirled on social media regarding the opening date, it has now been confirmed the new 1,890sqm store will now open its doors on December 12.
Shoppers will be able to get their Christmas food and drink in time for the big day, as a banner has been now placed outside of the store to promote the new opening date.

Totton South councillor David Harrison previously told the Daily Echo: "Most people I have spoken to anticipated a much earlier opening of the Aldi store.
"The company aren’t saying anything about the reasons behind the apparent delays, but it might be linked to the long-running roadworks at the access and problems that often arise in the course of such works."
A new bellmouth junction on Salisbury Road is still being developed to connect the new development to the existing network, and these road works are not expected to be finished until November 25.
The new store will create up to 40 jobs, an Aldi spokesperson told the Echo.
