A major road near Bishopstoke is set to be hit with road works lasting more than seven weeks and drivers are being warned.
Bishopstoke Lane near Colden Common is set to close for SGN to complete road works from October 28 until December 16.
A 999-metre stretch of road is going to be affected, and the closure is likely to cause delays through the Bishopstoke, Fair Oak, Bambridge and Allbrook areas.

A spokesperson for SGN said: “Residents will be unable to access Bishopstoke Lane from Church Lane whilst we undertake our works unless on foot or bicycle.
“The team onsite will advise residents of locations of excavation areas and install road plates if required to maintain access to your property.
“We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
A diversion route has been set up through Fisher’s Pond, Fair Oak and Bishopstoke.
