A skincare expert who launched her own salon just 18 months ago has been named the Daily Echo's Beautician of the Year for 2024.
Emma Farrance runs Eminence Skincare and Beauty from The Old Malthouse in Marchwood, a beautiful old building perfect as a calming environment for her many clients.
Customers voted in their thousands in the coveted annual contest, praising Emma's caring and friendly approach and expertise in treatments including facials, massage, hair removal, eye care, hand and foot care, and nails.

She's thrilled to win the award so soon after launching and already has expansion plans for the future.
Emma told the Daily Echo: "I was ecstatic when I found out I'd won.
"I like to think I provide a good service. I love my job and my clients are now my friends. If I do something, I make sure I give it 100 per cent. It's the only way of doing anything.
"Everyone has been lovely and so pleased for me. The fact they took the time to vote for me means more than anything. I'm really, really happy.
"Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for me. I'm so grateful for their continued support to my small business. I will continue to strive to provide the best service possible in the future."
The salon, in Main Road above Forestside Surgery, boasts free parking and is open six days a week with various hours to suit as many clients as possible.
Emma prides herself on offering the latest treatments and techniques in self-care in a relaxing and calm environment so customers feel as relaxed as possible during their treatment and leave feeling fabulous!
