A woman found with cocaine and heroin has been slapped with a fine.
Carole Ray, 46, was caught with four wraps of diamorphine – a Class A drug – on July 31.
She was also caught with 17 wraps of cocaine on the same date.
Ray, of Thornbury Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to both offences when she appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on October 10.

She was ordered to pay a fine of £120 a surcharge of £48.
Both of these amounts will be deducted from her benefits within 28 days.
A forfeiture and destruction order were also made for the heroin and cocaine found in her possession.
The wraps of both Class A drugs were seized from the defendant at the time of her arrest.
