A bus operator has warned commuters of an online scam offering free travel across Southampton.
A page calling itself "Southampton public transport smart card", using the Solent Go branding, has been posting adverts claiming to offer cards allowing people three months of travel for just £2.
It also looks to pressure users into clicking on the link by saying that the offer is only valid until the end of the month.
The post then asks visitors to click on a scam link to get their Solent Go card, which will not direct users to the real Bluestar website.
But Bluestar has said this page is a scam.
Bluestar said: “There is a page giving out false information. This offer is a scam and not real.
