A 14-month-old toddler who gives the ‘biggest hug you will ever have’ is looking for a forever home.

Ava has recently started nursey and the toddler with a big, bright smile is searching for parents in Hampshire to give her a new life.

Ava’s foster carer Emma says: “When I go out shopping, we always have to stop in the street or the supermarket because Ava’s big brown eyes and her wonderful smile will make people want to wave back or they will come over and speak to her.

“She really is a delight to be with.”

Ava is an outgoing girl who loves to have books being read to her, especially if they have fabric or materials that she can touch and crackle, but she also likes to interact with other friends and family.

“When you have Ava on your lap and you are telling her a story, Ava will give you the biggest hug you will ever have,” Emma said.

“She will snuggle into me and wrap her arms around me and will pat me on my back with her little hands.

“She will then squeeze my face and give me a big kiss. She is the most giving child and makes you feel very important in her life.”

Ava was born with an inside cleft palate, which means the roof of her month has not fused together naturally – meaning that she will require a small operation in the next 12 months to close the gap.

She also attends regular physio to build her muscles after doctors identified a genetic condition and this is helping her to gain the strength to crawl in the future.

The cheeky toddler has also been diagnosed with glue ear and may need grommets fitted in her ears, but Ava is still beginning to babble and talk when at home or nursery.
