A man caught speeding on the M27 has been slapped with a fine.
John Whelan was travelling westbound between junctions 10 and nine near Fareham when he was clocked at 80mph.
The 71-year-old was driving a BMW at the time of the incident on August 5 last year.
The national 70mph speed limit was in place at the time.

Whelan, of Seagrove Bay on the Isle of Wight, pleaded guilty to one count of speeding.
Appearing at Worcester Justice Centre, he was disqualified from driving for six months and ordered to pay a £423 fine.
He was also ordered to pay a £169 surcharge.
The fine and the surcharge must be paid in full by October 16.
He was also given three points on his licence.
