The main entrance to Royal Victoria Country park will be closed for three days starting on Tuesday.
Several large bags of rocks have been sitting inside the main entrance to the park recently, which left visitors puzzled at their presence.
Royal Victoria Country Park has now revealed that a crane will drop these bags of rock at the base of the sea wall to protect it from further tidal damage as the sea temperature drops in the winter months.

In a Facebook post, Royal Victoria Country Park - run by the county council - said: “These are emergency repairs only.
"We are still waiting to hear what the longer term plans will be and whether there will be any possibility of re-opening the sea wall.”
It was originally believed that the repairs would only take one day but the Facebook post advises closures until Thursday.
Vehicles and pedestrians will need to use an alternative route to access the country park.
