Hail and lightning are expected with strong and gusty winds, where 40mph gusts could be possible.
People can expect driving conditions to be affected by spraying water or hail, which could lead to longer travel times by bus or car.
Delays to train services have also been suggested, while some homes could be subject to flooding, especially in the southeast of the warned area where rainfall is expected to be significant.
