Fareham's Christmas lights switch-on will be moving indoors to avoid bad weather.
Celebrations alongside the switch-on ceremony are set to take place on Saturday, November 23, from 10am-7pm.
A Christmas market will be held at Fareham Shopping Centre. The council has announced that the market, organised by Funyard Events, will now be under cover.
The switch-on ceremony will take place at 5.30pm under the town centre bandstand, led by the deputy mayor of Fareham, Councillor Louise Clubley.
Executive member for leisure and community, Cllr Connie Hockley, said: "The Fareham Christmas Lights switch on event is a real treat for everyone.
"With so much to see and do, I hope residents will come along to do some Christmas shopping, indulge in some of the delicious food and drink and be entertained and amazed by our stage and street performers.
"The indoor market will provide shelter from the elements and the evening’s festivities will close with our Christmas lights countdown, which is a real spectacle."
