Passengers have been warned of disruption as rail replacement services are cut due to a bus shortage.
Several lines in and around Southampton are closed this weekend for engineering works.
But South Western Railway (SWR) is unable to offer a full rail replacement service due to a low number of buses.
Fans traveling to watch Southampton FC play Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium are urged to allow extra time to complete their journey as there may be a longer wait for rail replacement buses.
Passengers on the following lines will be affected this weekend:
- Eastleigh and Bournemouth
- Romsey and Redbridge to Eastleigh
- Woolston and Southampton Central
- Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier

A spokesperson from SWR said: “Due to a shortage of buses, we are unable to provide full rail replacement bus service coverage during these closures.
“If you intend to travel in these areas, please allow extra time to complete your journey.
“There may be large gaps between bus services, meaning your journey may take longer than planned.
“We’re sorry for any disruption this may cause.”
