SIMON GITHIEYA, 59, of Harwood Close, Totton admitted drink driving on Water Lane, Totton. He was caught with 83 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Githieya was banned for 20 months and fined £519. He must pay £85 court costs and a £208 surcharge.
JOHN GORMAN, 48, of Barons Mead, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was fined £307 and ordered to pay £85 court costs plus a £123 surcharge.
ARIF ACAR, 36, of Christchurch Road, New Milton admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker in New Milton and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He received a £462 fine and must pay £85 court costs plus a £108 surcharge.

RICHARD STEVENS, 35, of Adelaide Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin in Southampton. He was fined £120 and must pay £85 court costs. The court ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
PAUL JOHNSON, 60, of Milford Road, New Milton admitted obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty. He received a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £85 court costs plus a £26 surcharge.
MASON LAYTON, 23, of Bursledon Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to four counts of theft from a shop after he stole £334 worth of brandy, £287 of whiskey, £196.50 of AU vodka and £268 of champagne. Offences took place at Sainsbury's, Southampton. Layton received a one-year community order with 12 rehabilitation days and 60 hours of unpaid work. He must pay back the value of the stolen goods in compensation
