An inflatable activity tour company has offered to host disappointed families for free after a popular soft play company went into liquidation.
Injoy Centre in Ocean Village closed suddenly on September 1, leaving families out of pocket - with one losing £1,000 spent on a birthday party.
The company has gone into liquidation with the details of affected customers sent to the appointed liquidator.
But now Inflataplanet has come out in support of the impacted families, offering to host them for free.
In a post on social media, the company said: "If there is anyone who booked and paid in full for a party at this venue who lost their payment (proof will be required) we will host you for free to ensure your children don’t miss out on their birthday fun.
"Please direct message us - as mentioned proof is required and party booking must be after today's date.
"Personally, I loved taking my daughter to Injoy but the investment and running costs was never going to be easy to keep it going."
As reported, one family from Chandler's Ford had booked a party for their 6-year-old, with 16 children set to attend, making a special reservation at Injoy.
But after paying £650 for the party, the mother was shocked to find out on Facebook that the company had closed.
In a statement, Injoy said liquidators will be in contact to "provide further information and assist with any queries related to refunds of credits."
