More than 50 students attended a unique event to meet and learn from local health professionals.
The event took place at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton on September 24. Students had the chance to explore various health-related roles through practical sessions. By the end of the event, 39 students expressed interest in pursuing careers as health professional support workers or placements.
The event also served as a networking platform for health professionals across the Hampshire and Isle of Wight region.
Pieter Joubert, AHP workforce lead at NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight said: "It was great to see everyone working together across NHS Trusts, local authorities and higher education institutions, to deliver a fantastic event promoting and celebrating all the amazing careers available as an allied health professional in Hampshire and Isle of Wight."
