The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
JAY KITCHER, 24, of Internationa Way, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis, and two counts of theft from a shop. This followed incidents at Co-Op in Southampton where household products, washing detergents, meat, cheese and prawns worth £345.55 were stolen. He was jailed for five months.
ERIK REMEN, 43, of Beaulieu Road, Beaulieu admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Southampton and possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin. He was fined £550 and received ten points on his licence. Remen must also pay £85 court costs and an order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.

KIERAN LOFTS, 21, of Bramshott Road, Southampton admitted drug driving on Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton after he was caught with THC in his blood. Lofts was banned for 12 months and fined £400. He must also pay £85 court costs plus a £160 surcharge.
RIA MORGAN, 24, of Starboard Way, Southampton pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker in Southampton and obstructing or resisting a constable. Morgan received a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days and must pay £50 compensation and a £30 fine.
NGOC VIET NGUYEN, 32, of Bullar Road, Southampton admitted drug driving on Bitterne Road West after he was caught with THC in his blood. Nguyen was banned for 12 months and fined £242. He must pay £85 court costs and a £97 surcharge.
MOHAMMED SALEEMI, 63, of Cedar Road, Eastleigh was found guilty of driving without insurance on Morestead Road, Winchester. He was in a Mercedes. Saleemi was banned for six months and received six points plus a £60 fine. He must also pay £150 court costs and a £24 surcharge.
