The Romsey and Southampton North MP paid a visit to a new affordable housing development.
Caroline Nokes was invited by housing association VIVID to view the Cupernham Lane site, formerly the location of football legend Kevin Keegan's home.
The development, named Rays Field, will consist of 35 new homes, 21 of which will be available for social rent and the remaining 14 for shared ownership.
Ms Nokes said: "I was very impressed to hear about VIVID Homes' commitment to the highest standards in their new shared ownership and social rented scheme at Rays Field.
"The design of the homes was lovely, and I was so pleased to see the inclusion of a wide variety of environmental measures."
It is anticipated that the first homes will be available from early next year, with the entire development expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
This will bring VIVID’s stock in the Test Valley area to over 1,000.
