Summer is set for a stunning return to Southampton this week with the Met Office forecasting clear skies and sunshine, with highs of 23 degrees this week.
After a rather underwhelming summer, the city is set to see glorious weather this week with Wednesday and Thursday set for highs of 23 degrees.
The weekend is also set to continue the trend of hot and sunny weather with Saturday seeing highs of 21 degrees.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Fine, with plenty of sunshine, once any early mist or fog patches clear. Feeling warm but cooler and breezier along eastern coasts.
“Warm sunny spells throughout, but also strengthening easterly winds. Some mist or fog patches possible, mainly overnight or along coasts, where it will feel cooler. Showers likely Friday, perhaps thundery.”
