A man from Southampton has been charged with burgling a shed in the New Forest after an electric bike was stolen.
The 27-year-old is accused of targeting the shed in Lyndhurst Road, Ashurst, shortly before 1.30am on Monday.
Frankie Hunt, of Ennerdale Road, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with burglary other than dwelling.
Hunt has been remanded on conditional bail until a further hearing at the same court on Friday, November 8.

A police dog was deployed during the incident which saw a blue electric bike reported stolen from a shed.
Police said that the blue electric bike has since been recovered and returned to its rightful owner.
Two power tool batteries, valued at £50 each, and two alarms, valued at £20 each, were also reported stolen.
