Residents of New Forest are being invited to join in a consultation on polling stations.
The New Forest District Council (NFDC) has embarked on a Polling Districts and Places Review consultation, engaging citizens in assessing the current state of facilities.
It ends on September 29, and requires participants to go online to share their thoughts.
With an emphasis on location, accessibility, and provided amenities, the review aspires to hone in on potential improvements and adjustments.
Of prime concern to the NFDC is catering to the needs of residents with mobility challenges or other disabilities, ensuring that local voting stations remain fully accessible to everyone.
Once the consultation ends, all feedback will undergo careful evaluation and will be summarised in a comprehensive report.
Proposed changes will then be presented at a full council meeting slated for December.
For additional details, residents can visit the council's website or a local information office.
