A Southampton man has admitted to a spate of home burglaries in Southampton.

Krystian Szymanski, 40 of Northumberland Road, pleaded guilty to six counts of burglary dwelling with intent to steal, two counts of attempted burglary dwelling with intent to steal and one count of possession of a Class A drug.

Hampshire Constabulary said that between June 9 and August 26, Szymanski entered or attempted to enter numerous properties on Arthur Road, Firgrove Road, Amoy Street, Park Road, Hyde Close, Devonshire Road, Bullar Road and Thorold Road.

Today, he appeared before Southampton Magistrates' Court and pleaded guilty to all offences.

He was further remanded in custody until his next appearance at Southampton Crown Court on Tuesday, September 24, where he is due to be sentenced.
