A major Hedge End road is due to shut this month which could case traffic issues for drivers heading into Southampton city centre.
Hampshire County Council has said its highway teams will be undertaking the removal of vegetation along banks of Charles Watts Way.
In order to minimise disruption the road will close from 9:30am to 4pm on Monday, September 23 to Friday, September 27.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
This comes soon after a landslip partially shut the road for months.
The main link road between the M27 and Southampton was closed for seven months from November 2023 to June 2024, causing traffic misery for motorists.
It closed a major link between the eastern side of Southampton and the M27 at junction 7.
At the time, Hampshire County Council said the work was essential to prevent further damage to the embankment off the side of the road.
