A team from Southampton IT company, Aura Technology, reached the final of a charity football tournament.
The team recently competed in a charity five-a-side football tournament, 'Europa Conference League', where they made it to the final.
The team raised funds for its chosen charity, The Minstead Trust.
Under the leadership of their operations director, Steve Stokes, the Aura Technology team faced off against competitors from ten local firms vying for the trophy.
The tournament was hosted by Business Fives, a company which organises charity football networking events across the UK and Ireland.
The Aura team was specially mentioned for putting up a commendable fight in the tough final.
They were narrowly defeated and failed to clinch the winner’s title.
Mr Stokes said: "Although we didn’t win this time, our team played brilliantly and we all had a great afternoon.
"I’m also delighted that we raised awareness and money for The Minstead Trust to support their fabulous work for people with learning disabilities."
Ex-Southampton defender Franny Benali MBE hosted the trophy presentation and also held a Q&A session for the football fans present.
A drinks reception and buffet marked the end of the event.
Aura Technology specialises in providing quality proactive managed IT services for businesses.
The company operates out of Southampton and London.
