LITTLE girls in Romsey were bursting with excitement as they got to meet their favourite princesses.
Snow Princess Parties put on their first event in Romsey on Friday, August 23, with photo opportunities and a vegan market.
Hundreds of families attended with long queues to get photos, and dancing on the bandstand in the War Memorial Park. The vegan market was put on by Sparkle Vegan Event and included stalls such as vegan cakes, toys, wristbands and face painting.
Popular songs were being played throughout, with a smattering of well-known film favourites.

Lydia Lewington, franchise owner of Snow Princess Parties, said: “We have a base in Hampshire, so we picked a pretty place with a bandstand and came here for the local community. We've done seven events in August across the UK, but we just do one in Hampshire. It has been really good, it's lovely to see all the little girls all dressed up and doing all of their singing and dancing. We're collaborating with Sparkle Vegan Events to make it a vegan princess festival.”
Brynlee Hornsby and Olivia Newnham were excited to be there and came with their family with a three-hour drive from Poole.
Maxine Smith, a Romsey resident for eight years, came with her daughter Marni-Jean and had a great time.
Organisers hope to make it an annual event in Romsey.
