Here is the police statement in full following a fatal crash in Marchwood late last night.
Normandy Way was closed in the early hours of this morning after the single-vehicle crash at 11.30pm on Friday night, involving a blue Ford KA.
A 30-year-old man died and an 18-year-old woman is in hospital with serious injuries.

Police also want to hear from any witnesses of the incident, or people with relevant dash cam footage.

A spokesperson for the police said: "We were called at 11:29pm on Friday 16 August to reports of a single vehicle collision on Normandy Way in Marchwood.
"Officers and colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service attended, but despite best efforts from emergency workers, a 30 year-old man was pronounced dead as the scene.
"His family has been informed.
"An 18 year-old woman was taken to hospital where she is being treated for serious injuries.
"We are asking that any witnesses or those with relevant dash cam footage please call us on 101 quoting reference 44240352481."
