Netley's popular Big Eat food festival is set to return for its fourth consecutive year.
After attracting around 28,000 attendees this year, the much-anticipated event has secured repeat sponsorship from Snows Toyota, a family owned motor group renowned in several counties.
The Royal Victoria Country Park will host the festival over three days, May 24-26, 2025.
A variety of food and drinks vendors from across the south will be plying tasty street food, whilst simultaneously vying for the coveted Hampshire Street Food Award.
All profits from the Big Eat will be donated to local food banks to support the local community.
Besides the gastronomic delights, the festival will feature live music and entertainment, suited for all age groups. With no admission charge, the event promises a fun-filled day for family and friends.
Director of the Big Eat CIC Jeremy Gaskin said: "The Big Eat has now established itself as a much-loved annual event that sees the community come together to celebrate good food and have good fun.
"Seeing people from all walks of life enjoying food for a good cause is a great feeling and sums up why we founded the festival. It has been growing each year since our first event back in 2022 thanks to incredible support from the public and our team of dedicated volunteers.
"We can’t wait to experience another incredible weekend with you all."
Snows Toyota, the headline sponsor, has a significant presence across Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and Devon, with 11 dealerships.
The Big Eat has started accepting applications from vendors thinking of participating in next year's festival.
Interested applicants should send in their applications from September 1, 2024, onward. For more information, follow @thebigeatfoodfestival on Instagram.
