A group of travellers in Cadnam have left the site of a popular cricket club.
Over the weekend, residents reported that a traveller encampment had been set up on the site of the popular Cadnam Cricket Club.
One resident, who lives near the cricket club, said: "We've had to change our dog walk due to them being there.
"It is an absolute mess."
This comes as two other traveller groups cropped up in Southampton over the weekend - at Mansel Park and Stonham Lane.
A spokesperson for the New Forest District Council said: "This encampment was on Forestry England (FE) land and was managed by FE and support of police presence.
"The sector inspector confirmed on inspection this morning that they had left."
Hampshire Constabulary also echoed the council's statement and said that the travellers had now vacated the site.
