Work is almost complete as a major bookshop chain prepares to open a new shop in a Hampshire town.
Waterstones is preparing to move into the former M&Co unit in The Hundred, Romsey.
The fashion retailer shut in April last year amid nationwide closures.
The bookshop is due to open on Friday, August 2 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, August 3.
Ed Woods, the shop's manager, was helping to give the store its finishing touches when the Advertiser visited on Tuesday, July 30.
He said: “We're hoping to have a ribbon cutting ceremony like we had with the shop in Petersfield. We're all looking forward to opening.”
