Hampshire charity, Lymphoma UK, has donated over £10,000 to Southampton Centre For Cancer Immunology.
Conceived in 2008 to honour local mum of two, Karen Jane Ingram, who tragically died aged 40 from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Founder and voluntary CEO, Tom Ingram, with Chair Gerrie Jordan, delivered the cheque ceremoniously to Dr Ali Roghanian at the clinical trials unit.
Mr Ingram said : "This latest grant signifies our continued commitment of advancing medical research into lymphoma blood cancer and the fantastic work being done by the clinical trials team here in Southampton."
Notably, the charity's mascot 'Muddles The Bear' tagged along for the occasion.
Since 2020, Lymphoma UK's contribution to the Centre has surpassed £37,000.
