An official Team GB fanzone has been set up at Westquay shopping centre, with a huge TV screen and bars for fans to watch all the action.

For the first time, Westquay has become both an Official Team GB and Paralympics GB fanzone, enabling visitors to watch the Olympic and Paralympic Games – on large screens run by Ocean Outdoor.

The screen will be in place over the next ten weeks.

As part of the summer sports programme, organisers will also broadcast cricket action on the big screen.

Locals will be able to sit on comfortable deck chairs and cool off with a beer from one of Westquay’s many bars and restaurants.
