Music, beers and sunshine brought hundreds of visitors to Riverside Park on Saturday to experience one of Southampton's largest community festivals.

Hosted just next to Cobden Bridge, Trifest saw a dog show, live bands and craft stalls in the spirit of celebrating the local business and community of Bitterne Triangle.

The festivals were put together by a team of five volunteers, including life-long Southampton resident, Paul Jenks.

"We are determined to keep the event free and that comes with its challenges, but it works so well and we have seen nothing but smiles all day."

Sadly last year's Trifest was cancelled due to the weather, but this year's event was made even more successful by the hot weather and sunshine.
