Beaulieu Village Primary School has received a £400 donation from Hampshire-based housebuilder Redrow Southern Counties.
The funds are earmarked for new matching team uniforms for the school's budding athletics competitors for the end of term, with over one hundred children set to benefit.
The donation is part of Redrow's Community Fund initiative launched this year, which supports community-grounded organisations, including schools.
Caroline Cunningham, senior teacher at Beaulieu Village Primary School, said: "Sports are vital for children, providing lessons in teamwork and responsibility while helping them to stay active. Other schools’ teams have come to competitions decked out in matching kits and we wanted to provide the same for our teams to help them build confidence.
"On behalf of everyone at Beaulieu Village Primary School including our pupils, I would like to thank Redrow for their generous donation. These new kits are not just uniforms, they are a tool for giving our teams a boost of team spirit."
