Two men have been bailed as part of a police investigation into a stabbing in Eastleigh.
Police rushed to Twyford Road at around 7.38pm on Sunday after a man in his twenties suffered serious injuries.
A cordon was set up across the road near the Esso Tesco garage with officers and paramedics on the scene - including at least four police cars, a police van and an ambulance.
A 47-year-old man from Eastleigh was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 41-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both remained in custody on Sunday evening - but a police spokesman confirmed yesterday that the pair have been bailed with conditions until October 21.
At the time, a police spokesperson said this is thought to be an "isolated incident with no wider concerns for the public".
Anyone with information regarding the incident is being asked to call 101 quoting reference 44240310055.
