A Romsey man and Saints fan has been able to use his love of football to help raise £300 for Epilepsy Action.
Eddie Lawrence, a Freemason and devout Southampton FC fan, arranged a coach trip to attend Wembley Stadium to watch his beloved team play Leeds United in the Championship play-off final in May.
Eddie, of Thomas Bennet Langton Lodge 9224, asked the other passengers to bring a raffle prize for the journey, rather than pay the full going rate for travel.
Following the drawing of tickets and prizes being distributed, Eddie was delighted to have raised the sum for his chosen charity.
He was delighted not only for the money raised for such a great cause, but also seeing his team win the very tight contest and return to the Premier League.
