Photos have shown a large police cordon in Eastleigh following reports a man in his 20s had been stabbed.
Police rushed to Twyford Road at around 7.38pm on Sunday after a man suffered serious injuries.
A cordon was set up across the road near the Esso Tesco garage with officers and paramedics on the scene.
Residents could also be seen watching on as vehicles were diverted away.

Around four police cars remained at the incident yesterday evening, as well as a police van and an ambulance.
Two men have since been arrested.
A 47-year-old man from Eastleigh was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 41-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both remained in custody yesterday evening.
A police spokesperson said this is thought to be an "isolated incident with no wider concerns for the public".
