Police have seized a huge machete in Southampton.
The Portswood neighbourhood policing team seized the weapon which will now be destroyed, police confirmed.
Offices thanked members of the community who help police identify such weapons.

In a post on Facebook, officers said: “This article will be safely destroyed, eliminating any potential threat it posed.
"We greatly appreciate the ongoing support and vigilance of our community members.
"Together, we can continue to make Southampton a safer place for everyone.
“Did you know? Knife surrender bins are available throughout the city for safe disposal of any knives and offensive weapons.”
Knife surrender bins are available at Portswood Police Station, Southampton Central Police Station, Shirley Precinct, beside Shirley Library and on Warburton Road, Thornhill.
