A driving test centre which has been abandoned for two years is set to be sold.
The DVSA closed Forest Hills test centre at the start of April 2022.
More than two years on since the controversial closure, the site – which is near the incomplete Townhill Regeneration - finally has a future.
Bosses from the DVSA said the agency has had to change sales agents during the process.
A spokesperson said: “We have appointed new property agents, and the property will be sold in due course.
“Forest Hills Drive Driving Test Centre was closed in April 2022 as it provided better use of public funds to move all tests to Southampton Maybush centre.
“There has been no reduction in the numbers of tests delivered as a result of this move.”

The DVSA added that it is not unusual for commercial property sales to take longer than residential sales.
The announcement of the test centre closure sparked uproar amongst driving instructors and learners.
The moving of tests to the Southampton Maybush centre – five miles from Forest Hills – was a concern for many.
According to the DVSA, there was no loss of testing capacity for Southampton due to the change.
