The Netley Marsh Steam Rally, which takes place this weekend, boasts a rich history dating back to 1971.
The first event, then called "The Puff-in," was a one-day affair showcasing local steam engines.
The enthusiastic response from visitors and participants led to calls for it to become an annual tradition.
Following the success of the first year, the organisers decided to make it a yearly event.
Over the years, it has grown significantly from a one-day local gathering to a three-day extravaganza.
While steam engines remain a mainstay, the rally has expanded its scope to include a wider range of vintage vehicles and engines. From classic cars and motorcycles to heavy horses, the event offers a glimpse into transportation through the ages.
In addition to the impressive displays of machinery, there's a variety of entertainment options to keep everyone engaged.
This year's event is taking place this weekend.
