Following a rainy start to the week, Southampton can look forward to a heatwave heading into the weekend.
A yellow weather warning was in force as rain and thunderstorms battered the city on Monday.
But the Met Office is forecasting that temperatures will be as high as 28 degrees Celsius on Friday, with the hot weather continuing into the weekend, with highs of 24 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
