Milford on Sea carnival is one of the many no longer taking place throughout Hampshire.
Fancy floats snaked their way through Milford for the village carnival.
Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood and the Flintstones were just some of the many themes adorning the floats which paraded through the village from Keyhaven Road on August 29, 2004.
More than 20 floats took part in the procession, impressing the crowds with their extravagant creations.
Toddlers from Milford pre-school won the best decorated children’s float for their Sleeping Beauty-themed creation, while the best adult float was won by Milford on-Sea WI with their Colander Girls float.
Thousands of people turned out to view the spectacle which terminated at the village green where the crowds were entertained by a jazz band.
In the evening, local band Dog Ruff took over as people partied on into the night.
